Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to engineering and mechanical repair, dismantling pedal cars on my father’s ramps, experimenting with household electronics, and even wiring a battery torch to a 230V mains plug – all before turning ten. A lifelong passion for 4x4s, motorbikes, and sports cars has always been part of who I am.  Over the years, I’ve honed my skills through decades in the marine and power industries, initially working with diesel and gas generators in offshore, marine, and stationary sectors before moving into propulsion and variable speed systems. All these fields demanded a solid understanding of controls and high voltage systems. Today, I serve as a lead technical advisor on major projects, yet I still relish the hands-on experience – whether hopping in a van, visiting job sites, or mentoring the next generation of engineers

Bio

I became a member of MPE in 2020, right in the midst of the Covid pandemic; to say it has been an interesting 5 years would be an understatement. Even during the pandemic, MPE continued to flourish, requiring us to collaborate more closely as a team to tackle new challenges. With over ten years of management experience in the hospitality sector, my transition to this new field felt quite intimidating. However, looking back now, I can confidently say it was the best career decision I’ve ever made. In my free time, you can usually find me spending hours at the stables with my pony, Ozzy, or taking walks with my four cockapoos.

Bio

In April 2024, I began an exciting journey with MPE, starting as a data entry team member. This position offered a wonderful introduction to the company, allowing me to grasp its inner workings. However, my curiosity and eagerness to grow quickly prompted me to seek opportunities beyond my initial role, and I am now involved in various aspects of the company. This evolution has not only enriched my professional experience but also highlighted the importance of adaptability and lifelong learning in a successful company like MPE. Outside of work, I love tapping into my creative side by running my own press-on nail business, serving customers from around the globe. Additionally, I cherish spending quality time with my husband, whether we are tackling escape rooms, enjoying long walks, or watching a thriller movie together.

Supporting our engineers and workshop with precision, our Service Coordinator keeps operations running seamlessly.

Bio

I have been with MPE since 2021 beginning my journey as an apprentice engineer and advancing to the role of service coordinator. During my time at MPE, I have had the opportunity to travel globally, working on various types of engines, including gas and diesel. Additionally, I have completed several trips offshore, gaining experience on oil rigs. These experiences have not only honed my technical skills but also enriched my understanding of diverse working environments. When I’m not hard at work, you can usually find me indulging in my favourite pastimes. Whether I’m aiming for the bullseye in a game of darts, feeling the thrill of the open road on my motorbike, or exploring new horizons and basking under the sun on holiday.

Here’s our Admin Assistant, whose organisation and attention to detail make her an invaluable part of MPE.

Bio

I became a part of the MPE team in April 2025 as an administrative assistant. With a strong background in administrative support, I’m eager to contribute to the team’s success and grow alongside the company. Beyond the office, I express my creativity through designing and handcrafting accessories including handbags, purses, bag charms and keyrings. I also enjoy travelling and discovering new destinations with my husband.

Bio

Joining MPE in February 2024 as a technician initiated a transformation in my career. In just twelve months, I had advanced to the position of senior engineer, all due to the opportunities and support provided by MPE. My role has taken me across the UK, where I have participated in a range of tasks, including engine services, overhauls and engine commissioning, among others. What I value most about MPE is the welcoming environment that encourages teamwork and personal development. The company’s dedication to training and support guarantees that I am consistently learning and growing in my position. The variety of daily tasks keeps each day engaging and fulfilling; no two days are alike.

Bio

In January 2023, I embarked on my journey with MPE as a trainee engineer, eager to learn and grow within the industry. My dedication and passion for engineering have since propelled me to the role of a service engineer, where I play a crucial part in maintaining the workflow at our workshop. This position has given me the incredible opportunity to work overseas on various engines, broadening my skills and knowledge. Throughout my time at MPE, I have been fortunate to receive ongoing training, which has continually pushed me to expand my capabilities and strive for excellence in every project I undertake

Bio

I began my journey with MPE in September 2023 as a trainee engineer, instantly drawn in by the fast-paced and varied nature of the work. Each day brings new challenges and learning opportunities, keeping my role, both engaging and fulfilling. One of my favourite aspects of MPE is the welcoming, family-like culture, everyone is always ready to lend a hand. As I work towards completing my training, I’m grateful to be part of a company that invests in its people. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing and spending quality time with my girlfriend, which helps me unwind and recharge for the next day’s adventures.

Meet our Apprentice Engineer who is continually enhancing his knowledge and skills.

Bio

I joined MPE in September 2025 as an Apprentice Engineer. It’s my first step into the industry, and I’m learning loads by combining college with hands-on experience in the workshop. I’ve already started working on engines and generators, and I’m excited to keep building my skills and becoming part of the team here at MPE.
