MPE Partners with Loughborough College Group’s Stevenson Campus to Deliver Apprenticeships

MPE has announced a new partnership with the recently formed Loughborough College Group, working with its Stevenson Campus, the Group’s specialist technical and trade site to deliver a new wave of apprenticeships. This agreement marks a significant step forward in supporting skills development for the engineering and manufacturing sectors, ensuring young people and career changers alike have access to high-quality training pathways. By combining MPE’s industry leading expertise with the academic and vocational strengths of Loughborough College Group, the partnership aims to tackle the skills gap, nurture local talent, and contribute to the long-term growth of the regional economy.

Combining Technical Training with Industry Expertise

The collaboration will see MPE officially recognised as an apprenticeship provider, creating opportunities for learners to gain hands on experience with MPE’s advanced technologies alongside classroom-based training at Stevenson Campus.

The initiative comes shortly after Loughborough College merged with SMB College Group in 2025, bringing together expertise, facilities, and resources to create the Loughborough College Group. Within this new structure, Stevenson Campus has been positioned as a hub for technical skills and vocational training, making it an ideal partner for MPE’s apprenticeship programme.
